Talakaveri
Talakaveri or Talacauvery is the place that is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri and a holy place for many Hindus. It is located on Brahmagiri hills near Bhagamandala in Kodagu district, in the South Indian state of Karnataka. It is located close to the border with Kasaragod district, Kerala.

Chelavara Falls
Chelvara Falls is a natural waterfall formed by small stream, a tributary of Kaveri near Cheyyandane village which is on Virajpet – Talakaveri State Highway (SH 90) around 16 km from Virajpet, in the state of Karnataka, India.
It is located on the way to Kabbe Holidays Homestay and is near Thadiyandamol, the highest point in Kodagu. The falls is visible after walking 200 meters into the forest from the place available for parking.

Perumbadi lake

Tadiyandamol peak
Tadiandamol or Thadiyandamol is the highest mountain of Madikeri taluk Kodagu district, Karnataka, India. It is the third highest peak in Karnataka, after Mullayyanagiri & Kudremukha. It is located Western Ghats range, and reaches an elevation of 1,748 m. The mountain has patches of shola forests in the valleys.
The Nalaknad (also known as Nalnad – meaning 4 villages) palace at the foothills is an important historical landmark. This was one of the landmarks mapped during the Great Trigonometric Survey.
It is a place of interest for trekkers and naturalists. The climb to the top and back can be completed as a day hike(within 5hrs) and the entry is closed at 5:00 pm.

Madikeri Town
Madikeri is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th-century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. Nearby, the domed Omkareshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. To the northwest, cascading Abbey Falls is surrounded by spice plantations.
