A dwelling that we call home
We have always has a minimalist approach to life – the lesser the better! This ideology has dripped down on how we would like to build a home when we decide to do it.
The though was very simple, lesser walls, more openness, bring the outside in. This thought process translated into an open plan design that reflects all that we stand for.
Aatma Homes main dwelling, the aatma, is a 1800+ sft oasis with just 6 logical walls. We never wanted a home with 5 bedrooms… we needed just 2. The attached washrooms are again.. open to nature like never seen before.
The living space is one large, open to the elements space that incorporate the kitchen and dining into itself.
The main home also functions as the kitchen for our guests, dishing out mouthwatering Kodava Cuisine, so the main home becomes the heart of all activities in the home. This made is ensure that the kitchen is equiped with every mordern eminity that one can dream of in a kitchen.
